Round Up at Komoka Foodland

This weekend we are fundraising for the Cadet Corp. at Komoka Foodland

We will be helping customers bag their groceries and taking their groceries to their cars.

Dress will be FTU’s please ensure your boots are blackened.

The cadets that are selected for the recruiting table will be in Full DRess Uniform

Shift are 11am - 4 pm Sat and Sun. If you can do more than one shift it would be greatly appreciated!

All funds raised go towards our Cadet Corp. so the Parent Support Committee can organize awesome activities throughout the year!

If you are in Highschool and need volunteer hours please bring your form in on Tuesday to have signed.

 50/50 Delaware Speedway Night/Cadet Flag Party

50/50 Delaware Speedway Night/Cadet Flag Party

The Support Committee is in need of Volunteers approx. 5 to 6 parents to assist with the selling of 50/50 tickets at the races.

We will also need 3 Cadet Volunteers for Flag Party 1 Senior and 2 Cadets.  PLEASE CONTACT Lt Vaughan via email at taylorvaughan@rogers.com buy June 5th.

All volunteers will meet at the speedway located at 1640 Gideon Drive, Delaware, On, Canada, N0L 1E0 at 530pm.

Dress will be appropriate civilian attire.

Cadets will be in full dress uniform for the flag party.

Please contact the Support Committee Members listed below if you are able to participate so they can assign the correct staffing.

Ontario Provincial Police - Community Presentation

Constable Max Gomez from the  London OPP will be at our LHQ to give a presentation on a selected topic which will be targeting youth. 

Cadets are to arrive at the School NLT 6:30 pm.

About Constable Max Gomes:

Throughout Constable Max Gomes career he has has received a Life Saving Award, Bravery Award, West Region Commander’s Coin for excellence, and the recipient of the 2014 Canadian Bankers Association Law Enforcement Award presented to our investigative team at the CACP annual conference in Victoria, BC. He also had the opportunity to represent the OPP and the Integrated Security Unit as a Media Relations Officer deployed to the 2015 PanAm Games in Toronto, ON. In addition, he is currently serves as The Canadian Association for Latino Peace Officers (CALPO’s) President and member of our Board of Directors.

EQUIPMENT CHECK AND LEGION CLEAN UP

EQUIPMENT CHECK AND LEGION CLEANUP

We are going through old equipment that we no longer use at the Corp.  We are going to assemble and check for operational and functionability of this equipment and put in the town wide yard sale to make money for newer equipment that we will have a more frequent use for.

Also in conjunction with that our Sponsor the Legion has asked to rake the baseball field and clean up the leaves in and around the field to help them out for this years ball season.
